A Case of the Monday's

It is 2:48, and it feels like I have gotten nothing done. Don't even go there…I know its Monday. People hate Mondays because they are worth hating. With our internal clocks off by two hours, we have to review last week while also planning for this week and we are stuck in meetings all day. Although I feel like I should have gotten more done by 2:48, I accomplished a great deal considering the Monday grind.

Regardless of the day of the week, we are lucky at Blind Acre to have such a committed staff. We all sit here behind a wall-to-wall window, taking only a few minutes of our day to gaze up at the precious sun, and quickly remind ourselves that we can't set up a slip-n-slide in the median of Nationwide Blvd.

That is what makes us different; we work hard, but don't lose our inner fun because we have to work hard. We deal with the 'Mondays,' keep our heads down and get it done. But we do take the occasional minute to crack a joke, share a story or ask for a piece of gum.
